Latest UFL Roster Moves: Eight Players Sign with Teams, Two QBs Cut from Memphis Showboats

The UFL had plenty of news to share with so many players signing contracts with the league, but it had a pair of releases at the quarterback position to report as well.

The league announced Friday that eight total players had signed to four different UFL teams, and that the Memphis Showboats had released quarterbacks Guy Myers and Ryan Willis.

Last season, Willis saw limited action as the backup quarterback for the Showboats, appearing in just one game and throwing one completion. Myers has bounced around the USFL; he spent time in 2022 with the New Jersey Generals and the Tampa Bay Bandits before signing with the Showboats last year.

The Arlington Renegades signed the most players with four total, three of whom were on last season’s team. Defensive back Jamal Carter, who will be returning to the Renegades, was the lone defensive player on the list of eight. Nearly 150 players have been signed to UFL teams since the conclusion of the second UFL Dispersal Draft.
