NFL Analyst Reveals AFC Team Who Should Pursue Dak Prescott
Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Dak Prescott has remained a focal point of NFL discussions throughout the offseason, with fans and analysts alike speculating about his future, particularly given the Dallas Cowboys’ apparent lack of urgency in extending his contract.

There’s a prevailing notion that Prescott may part ways with the Cowboys after the 2024 season, contingent upon either a deep playoff run or a Super Bowl triumph.

Amidst this speculation, people have been trying to forecast Prescott’s destination for the upcoming season, basing their projections on team needs.

The Las Vegas Raiders have emerged as a potential landing spot, a point emphasized by Marcus Spears in a recent segment of the NFL on ESPN.

He remarked, “If I was the Vegas Raiders, I would have already tried to figure out where is my in on the Dak Prescott sweepstakes.”

Spears is of the opinion that the Raiders could offer Dak Prescott an ideal landing spot, presenting an opportunity for both parties. Not only would it mark a fresh start for Prescott, but it could also bring stability to the Raiders’ quarterback position.

During Derek Carr’s tenure, the team enjoyed a level of stability at quarterback. However, with his departure, the Raiders seem to have lost momentum and control over their offense.

While many anticipated the Raiders selecting their next quarterback in the draft, this scenario didn’t materialize. As such, there’s curiosity surrounding the team’s quarterback plans for the upcoming season, with speculation rife about the possibility of signing a player of Prescott’s caliber.
